I enjoy lots of things, and a good latte on a Sunday afternoon, which I'm hoping to have later today, is one of them. Also like philosophy and politics, plus those occasional artistic moments. Your blog is interesting. Take care and have a great week!Scott McLeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10190383698274363140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32062767.post-1166160555259973802006-12-14T23:29:00.000-06:002006-12-14T23:29:00.000-06:00Hi Kelly,I completely understand where you are - i...Hi Kelly,

I completely understand where you are - it reflects how I feel about a few things when it comes to teachers. I'm almost wondering if we are entering a stage of teacher apathy caused by too many things overwhelming them. The teachers I see that are passionate about technology or other educational items, usually have remained focused despite the plethora of things coming at them. Also, like you, I find that I want to do more than I am able but I have learned to live with that in most areas of my life. The key, from my perspective, is to focus on those things that will give you the greatest satisfaction. Keep up the work. Know that you have joined a growing group of educators who are willing to explore, experiment and learn.
Kelly (MrChristie)Kelly Christophersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05040338950305628170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32062767.post-1163809578397815412006-11-17T18:26:00.000-06:002006-11-17T18:26:00.000-06:00You're right, Kelly, it takes time. It is tough, but you're right, we have to adjust our attitudes and then just move ahead and change what we can - ourselves. I am going back from our technology conference here in Georgia and it is a let down when it is over. But, you're making a difference and you're doing well with your blogging. Maybe the key is to take one or two things that we can integrate over time. I think the only way change actually happens is in small increments!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
